I met Shternie during one of the most difficult times in my life, and I truly feel that Hashem brought her into my life at exactly the right moment. From our first conversation, I felt as though I had known her for years.
Shternie is deeply compassionate and has so much Torah wisdom and life experience to share. She brings a fresh perspective to hardship, and the challenges she has faced give her a rare ability to help others navigate their own. Last week I had the absolute privilege to attend an evening of Kintsugi art at the Chabad Of Plano and hear Shternie Rosenfeld share her story of faith, resilience, and rebuilding. But “story “is such a weak word here, as it was instead her beautiful revelation of how her relationship with Hashem transformed her life and the life of her entire family. I was moved, mesmerized, and most importantly, inspired by Shternie’s experience, and how I personally am able to connect it to my own life. I am quite sure all the women present felt the same. I went to the event with no expectation other than to spend an evening with beautiful Jewish women and left transformed in my own faith. And I found a beautiful friend and guide for life in the process.

A few months ago I found Shternie's podcast online. As I listened to her story something deep in me became alive again. I have always been a pretty optimistic person but after years of going through infertility and all the struggles that came with, I felt stuck in a cycle of hopelessness. Hearing her story has truly changed my life, I don’t say those words lightly. She reminded me of the power of joy and that it is attainable for us all. Her joy is contagious because its authentic, she’s seen the side of life where optimism is difficult to grab hold of and she grew from that. Hearing her speak about the inner peace that expressing gratitude towards G-d brought to her life inspired me to begin writing gratitude lists.
